Hi fellow Craftsters!

I just wanted to update you all on the Jerusalem painting I did in jelly beans. Just recently received an email asking me about it and what happened to it. Which is why I am posting this update. As far as I know it is still waiting in the wings to be hung at The Mid-Island JCC (Jewish Community Center) in Plainview, NY. The lobby is still under construction and so the painting is stored somewhere in the building till the lobby work is completed. I did go there and rework the mid section of the painting so as to get rid of the seam that ran thru it. Didn't get to take a picture tho...waiting till it is framed and hung.

Another thing I was prompted to do was to post a video of the "making of Jerusalem" on You Tube (not all that user friendly - still can't get the "reply" window to open up for me ), and so after working all morning on the video I was finally able to get to post my video.

You can access here:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zcs0Khvhq7Q

Thanks for all your kind words and encouragement thru out the entire process!

hugs,
chek

Thank you! Yes, it was quite a journey! But right now, after fussing with putting up the you tube video, I feel like THAT was the more major accomplishment!!  LOL!

Sorry, all this time I thought I answered this. Thank you for liking it. It's nice to know all that hard work and about a million burnt finger tips later that all that work was worth it and that it is appreciated.

I am or WAS hoping to post this picture on pintrest but I absolutely failed at that. I tried testing with some other things but then I never saw them there after I posted them or thought I posted them, so I just gave up. If anybody can manage to get this picture up (one up top) for me...sure would appreciate it.

PS: According to my latest calculations there are approx. 13,000 jelly beans used to make Jerusalem give, or take a hundred.
