This project started on a rainy yucky day when my daughter started complaining she was bored. So I got thinking, we didn't have a tree topper for when Christmas came around. Why not make one. I started looking for a tutorial or idea, the few I found wheren't exactly what my daughter wanted so I remembered seeing a tut on how to make a Weeping Angel from Dr Who here- http://lilybet85.blogspot.com/2010/11/weeping-angel-christmas-tree-topper.html which lead me to http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=354411.0 Any way I took their ideas and conformed it to what I needed.
So a big thank you to them.
It's not perfect this was my first time making and using paper clay. Which actually turned out a bit lumpy. But over all we're happy with the results and my daughter wants to make more. Smiley

Great project! And thanks for the links! My daughter wants a weeping angel tree topper, but she wants the ugly man one who looks like Lurch! Reaching out to ring your neck! I will have to see how I can modify this approach for that.  Grin

Thank you, and you're welcome. Smiley I guess you could always try using a Ken doll instead of Barbie.
