My friend had a lovely vintage bag and I liked it so much I made my own! It's not exactly like hers, but very close. I love that it saddles, I can throw it over an arm chair. Plenty of space inside. The back has two large deep pockets, perfect for phone, sunglasses and keys. The lining is a vintage bedsheet. The shell fabric is a yellow canvasy type material, thrifted.

This ROCKS. And wow- I didn't get what you meant by "saddle" until I scrolled down a bit- what a great design! I *need* something like that...if you ever do a tutorial (or just more pics), I would be keenly interested in making one like that- such a smart design, and you did a GREAT job on it!  Grin
