I've started making custom pet silhouette cushion covers!  So far I've only completed a cat (12") and a dog (18"), and done a chicken example silhouette (that I misplaced before I got a photo!), but I hope I get to do some less common pets, like turtles, lizards, parrots, chinchillas, bunnies, horses, pot-bellied pigs, ferrets, etc.

Oh, pooh! Those are all common animals. Let's see one with a moose, reindeer, or ostrich!!! Just kidding. I am glad you have these up and running. Very nice job. And I see what you meant about the cameo idea. {Private conversations with this artist, folks}...don't scratch your head...you will leave a mark!  Grin

A wonderful job, and I eat the animal print background for these. And that strange paisley thing, too. It sets it off well. And very nice "framing" with the lace oval thing going on. Those trim pieces are not on a bias, and hard to tack down in an oval or circle. You did a wonderful job there, too!

If anyone has a pet ostrich they want a pillow of, I am their gal!

Thanks! The trim piece is basic gimp from the upholstery section. Not all gimp is flexible enough to make the curve, but this is.  LOTS of careful pinning and stepping back to look to get that right.  THANKS!

eat these.  Your fabric choices are perfect.  I too eat the framing with the ribbon look.

Wow, THANKS!  I hope that they capture a bit of the spirit of a cameo brooch.

With that many bunny hops...I bet she will be on the project soon.  Grin

She is a wonderful artist, and a PM friend of mine...and I don't mind tooting her horn! She deserves it. She is a wonderful pal.

I just might have to get her a picture of an emu...or ostrich. We have those in my neck of the woods!

Happy crafting!
