For this project, I used shower curtain rings for the wreath base. They worked great! Just the right size for a small wreath, and the clear plastic was very unobtrusive.

I tied the rosemary sprigs on with hemp cord, which was strong and just sticky enough to hold. I gave each sprig two wraps before adding the next.

After making two or three, I decided that placing the sprigs along the outer rim (not the top edge) made the whole thing lie better.

And when they're done being a decoration, they can be food! Who doesn't love gifts like that. Cheesy

Splendid.  I want to hang them from ribbon across my imaginary fireplace mantle.

Glad you posted a tute! These are really easy, and your grocery store can give you the supplies, for what you don't have. These are wonderful, and smelly up the place good! This is a wonderful project that does not take up much time, but makes happy, all the same!

They can also be done larger size, though you probably would have to grow your own "twigs" for next year?

But these are aweful cute. I can see some could be hung on the Christmas trees, too? Old belt buckle things, margerine lids cut out in the center....find something round and adapt it!!!  Grin Some wire or hot clue would do it!

Great idea, AD!

I have a massive rosemary shrub outside my living room windows. Now I have another idea of what to do with the trimmings. I cut it back at least 3 times a year and fill a large trash bag each time. Can only use or give away so much of it before my friends start hiding from me. Maybe they'll be glad to see me if I bring them a wreath! Grin

Thanks sweets, and everyone! I did actually grow all the rosemary (kind of, we grew it on the farm where I work), and I have way longer pieces that I tried to use first. It was just hard to get them to lay right and look even working with such a small base!
