I wanted to share this project, it still has a special place in my heart even though I created it forever ago now Smiley  Shortly after we moved into our house I realized we needed a place for our keys so I got on the task of creating a key ring holder.  A scrap piece of lumber, some random hooks scavenged from a can of hardware in the basement, some of my son's old wooden alphabet blocks and a stencil from Stencil 101; here is my creation:

Love it! I'm going to have to try this. We just have a plain wooden key hanger in the kitchen. This would add a nice little touch with the color.

A nice unique piece.  So much better looking than your average store bought holder. And a very clever use of found items from your own home.  I especially like the blocks, it adds a neat dimension to the piece.
