received more goodies!
From Helcura,
Two lovelies...
On my cats in the snow or in winter...

And general wild animals in winter/snow.

both so beautiful but the fox is just stunning!! Love how she is looking right at us.and the wee footie-prints of the kitty stalking the bird are adorable. Hope they show up in the pic. Back of cards are wonderful as well.

From michelleandbean winter kitty

another cutiepie. Makes me yearn to see my all white kitty again, who passed away 6 months ago. Nice touches of zigzaggy cutting at edge.

thank you so much, Helcura and michelleandbean. It has been a pleasure to swap with you.

That fox is amazing!

___

Here's my loot so far:

A lovely Penguin from our awesome host Kaz814!
It reads "there's no business like 'snow business' " I love it!

michelleandbean also went with my penguin theme Smiley
This one reminds me a bit of "Wallace and Gromit". That googly eyed stare cracks me up!

tada!! vincentvanbuck ALSO made penguins  Grin
(I'm guessing all the other themes I picked were boring..... Wink )
He's too adorable with the scarf, and the fabric penguin on the back (or is it the front? the card is 100% reversible!)
is to die for!

Thanks guys! I loved swapping with you Smiley
(in a blonde moment (of which I have plenty) I thought I had received from blupaisan as well.. but it was meant for
another swap. Curious to see if I get another penguin  Cheesy )

Here is the gorgeous piece made by kosmicgirl! animals in winter theme, she calls it "'tis the season to be jolly"  how I love the wee hats on everyone! And the birds are indeed looking jolly. I love how the mouse is looking up at the cat and the cat has this whatever expression!! All-around awesome, kosmicgirl! thanks sooo much!

ps. just noticed that only the whatever kitty has a drooping hat! what a great touch.

VEEEERRRRRYYYY cute kosmicgirl.

And your hat would droop, too, if their were two birds sitting on it  Grin

I like how the squirrel arm is holding up the cat's tail. And the frumpy cat face? Too darling. He must be the "bah humbug" one in the bunch, because he was sent outside, and couldn't play with the balls on the tree!  Cheesy

Those penguins are adorable!  And I think we all tried to combine some of your themes - snow/snowflakes and penguins, at least!

Cheesy

And the cat's expression - DIES.  LOVE IT.

Could everyone please double check that I have everyone colored appropriately on the first page of this gallery?  I'm giving feedback as soon as your partners have received, but that doesn't mean you're off the hook for posting pics and sharing your goodies!

I received from vincentvanbuck and stellou!

vincentvanbuck needlefelted a nativity scene for me - I simply adore it!  The colors are vibrant (and perfect with the blue and yellow) and the scene is awesome.  I cannot believe this was his first venture into needlefelting.

and stellou used my Christmas tree theme and my doors theme to make two gorgeous ATCs.

The background of the tree is burlap with the tree embroidered on, and the door has real hardware!  And a wee little key!

Thank you both SO much!

Helcura - The fox looks incredible.  Love the intent stare in the eyes.
kosmicgirl - Dressed-up penguins are just too cute to resist!  I love it that each penguin looks so different.  Also, your animals in winter look amazing, as always.
kaz814 - The "snow business" bit cracked me up.  Tongue
michelleandbean - The background colors on your penguin card are gorgeous.  Was that the paper itself, or did you do that coloring?  It looks like there's a circular stamp detail at the top that I love, too.
stellou - The rustic effect of the embroidery on the burlap is wonderful.

So much talent in this swap!  You are all so inspiring.  Cheesy

Here is mine from vincentvanbuck.
back of it...

and close-up of lovely needlework

As with a fabric double-sided he has made before, he designed this to be like a pocket, with a stiffener within.
Stitches are wonderful! So 'live simply' like I love so much. Love the path leading thru the white snow.
Also, the back is fun as just a natural snow-laden tree as one would come upon in the woods.
Love it! Thank you, vincentvanbuck. Yer sewin' up a storm!
