My mother is a woodworker, and a good one. We are trying to convince her to make some items for a craft sale, more of a morale booster than a money maker. Since I would be the one selling, other than the information on who made it, how much it is and what it's made of, do I need to know anything else?

Actually, you should know everything about each item. How it's made, what type of finish it has, etc.

You should spend time with your mother while she's making the items so you are confident you can answer any questions that may arise.

There's NOTHING at a craft show, or on Etsy, anybody NEEDS. NOTHING.

I have seen some show applications require the maker of the craft item(s) actually be in attendance in the booth.  If you decide to do this make sure you're in compliance.  If they require her to be there and she's not, you could get kicked out and in some shows, she would not be allowed to come back due to a violation of written rules.
