Its been awhile since I made this for the Back to Hogwarts swap but I am finally getting around to making my own post  Smiley

I wanted to make a baby version of one of the HP magical creatures and decided on a mermaid.  I studied the characters from the movie (they are not pretty mermaids) and tried to imagine what a baby version would look like.

I found the perfect jar with a cork at a yard sale one day.  I think I planned on making her smaller but this is just what came out when I started crafting Cheesy!  She is suspended by fishing wire.   I wanted to put sand and sea-things in the bottom of the jar but that would just get all messed up when I mailed it.

I love her yarn hair the most!

I added a specimen label to the jar and she was done!

That is fantastic. Just fantastic. I could see that selling like crazy, even a pattern of that would be a hit, it's just great. I love how you've gotten the waist indentation to happen.

I love this! what a great idea. And of course the Mermaids in Harry potter were so awesome, one can never have too many collectables of them.
