Usually when I paint storybook style animals I use only a dot for the eye (I like the minimalist look), but recently I had a friend request the big eyed bubblegum look, so I started playing around with it. I think I like it! It's a little different for me, but I enjoy the new element and the new added layer of detail. These are a couple of the ones I finished this week.
