It's been quite some time since I posted a project on here, but I'm very proud of this one.  On our way back from a nerdy boardgaming session, I saw this huge soccer ball in someone's garbage, as we cruised pass I noticed it was a chair.  I turned around and told my husband to load it up in the trunk, I'd fix this up, it was so interesting.  Not two seconds after he loaded it up, I knew what I'd do; our son has recently discovered Star Wars and become a huge fan, he'd have a death star chair by the time I was finished Cheesy  Here are a few pics of this adventure:

What a fantastic job you made of this chair.  I love that it is a Death Star as I am a big Star Wars fan myself.

I love that this is a dumpster-diving project! To transform something someone else put in the trash is a wonderful way to look at the world- not to mention that the concept of "sitting-on-the-death-star" will sure provide lots of fun moments.

In fact, I'm kind of wishing, I'd be sitting on the death star Grin

    Wonderful project! Grin

What an amazing mum you are! The chair is so cool, you can see a lot of work went in to it. I'm going to show this to my brother, he is Star Wars crazy and will be incredibly jealous.
Seeing as your son is now into Pokemon, does this mean you're working on a new Pokeball makeover?!.. hehe  Tongue
