I thought that stack of papers might be from India as I have some that is similar in texture and bound the same way.

Yay!  I'm glad it got there okay, and that you like your things, geekgirl1000100.  Most of the fake money, and a few of the other papers, are actually joss paper, and the green paper in the corner is a stack of handmade papers from India.  I realized I didn't mention that in the card I sent, but thought it might be fun for you to know.  Grin

Awesome!  I think they are a great size for making cards or cutting embellishments.

Does anyone else play those hidden object games? This gallery reminds me of those as I sit here with my nose pressed up to my phone, trying examine all the doodads and goodies. Smiley Great packages everyone!

hahaha!  I had that same thought!  Grin

Too funny, I totally do the same thing!  I did take some closer-ups of the things I sent geekgirl1000100, if that would help.  Cheesy

Have been up to my eyeballs with 'must finish' type projects since I received from Acadian Driftwood, but want to get photos posted before I get swamped again. Grin Warning: Pic heavy!!! First up are foreign stamps (Russian and Polish?), ribbons, Asian prints, a brass stencil, and miscellaneous items.

Then seaweed, complete with their scientific nomenclature that Acadian prepared for a college course and a piece of hand-crafted paper. Love the seaweed!!

Next various wildlife photos. I especially like the pandas and the baby penguins.

More wildlife photos, origami papers, and a page from a Beatrix Potter book.

Amazing vintage book pages from Shakespeare, plus ones in French, Spanish, Latin, and what I suspect is German. I have so many ideas for these!

Then some shots of the envelope. My favorite drawings from the front of the mailer.

More great drawings. Like the way Acadian incorporated my love of quilting by using a stippling design around the star.
I've loved doing this swap and having such a talented partner. Thanks, Acadian Driftwood!

I have to disagree. Those kitty pictures are the best out of all the animal pics.  Wink

Oh look!  The gallery!  I'll have to catch up a bit, but in the meantime, check out what the FABO Ludi (for the Givers and Needers section of the swap) sent me!!!

It's so perfect for me!  I used to have a snake, so I have been coveting the ribs she has used in some past art pieces.  I have a thing for bees as well, got 2 tattoos in fact.  Now I just have to figure out the  perfect place for it.  Thanks so much Ludi!  I love it Grin

I also managed to send of both Ludi's and Onyxnox's envelopes out today as well Grin

ooo I love that shadowbox!

OK, so I received from kbrison today, and I'm going to need a lot of pictures to show all my goodies, so prepare yourselves! She seriously stuffed that envelope.

First up, some beautiful large papers.

More great papers, doily, scans of vintage book pages, and collage sheets.

Wild turkey feathers! And really cool aluminum can cutouts (how did you do these?), and little papers with great textures.

More great textured papers, embossed papers (love these), many many gift tags, and paper cutouts.

These papers include handmade squares and music book pages.

A whole package of origami papers! Whoa! More old book pages, stamps, and collage pages.

Beautifully decorated gift tags! The marbled on is my favorite. Cheesy

I was so overwhelmed by this package, kbrison! You are amazing!

Recieved my package today from Calixita and was so excited!  She had the outside of the envelope decorated with a picture of a giraffe, which caught the eye of one of my neighbors!  So we all sat in the rec room at the seniors apartments and admired the great contents (yes, I even got to share some!)  Anyway, we oh'ed and ah'ed our way  through the most amazing collection of papers, prints, book and music pages, pictures, trims etc!   I don't know how to do pictures, but it is all great stuff!  This was such a great swap, and my neighbors were all awed by the swap idea and generosity!  Thank you Calixita!
