Belated Halloween greetings to you! This year for the annual Halloween parties I attend I came as a carrier pigeon bearing a message of the season:











Why a pigeon? I like em! I really like flamingos but I dont think I could pull off that look. While bemoaning that I decided to embrace the fact that Im kinda built like a pigeon. Thus, this costume was born.





The dress is made from 4 thrifted sheets. The wings are out of the leftovers from 1 sheet and a thrifted pillow case. The headband, shoes, leggings and bolero sweater underneath are from the store Smiley

I made the pattern for the dress and wings myself. (I turned my test dress into this. Fun when throw-away projects turn out!) Herere some close ups:








And a collage just because Smiley
