That is so interesting. My daughter has synesthesia and I find it fascinating. I never heard of directional synesthesia. It's great of you to share.

I got a whole bunch of goodies when I emptied my mailbox yesterday!

From mariak for my Pinterest Quotes theme (I love this quote, and the gems are a nice touch) :

From blupaisan for my They Might Be Giants lyrics theme:

Why no FDR, your hat doesn't clash with your tie. Wink I like the tiny patriotic kitty too.

She sent this cool vintage card from her collection, too!

And this is from IsikkahJai, for my "Everyday activities that are difficult for zombies" theme:

I think maybe there should be a competition between a zombie and the 3am version of myself to see who's worse at video gaming. I like it!

Thanks everybody!

I actually can't learn to know where I am on the planet. I can picture where I need to go, but things like North South East and West do not describe anything to me. People have tried to teach me how to navigate my whole life, and if you gave me directions and explained NSEW and then asked me what direction my destination was in(or which direction I was going), I always guess wrong. Like not a little off, such as northwest, but way, way off. LOL. So I guess you could say my brain learned to do it's own GPS thing. If I get anxious and I am alone, it becomes a big tangled multicolored scribble of a mess. So when people ask me how to get somewhere, I just tell them I am directionally impaired. I really didn't realize I saw routes as colors until I started therapy years ago. But, as my therapist says, it's not weird, just different. That's a whole other issue, hehehe.

I received 3 cards from ChameleonHound. Be prepared to be blown away:

First, is a card for my Windows theme. She did an amazing stained glass window that really can't be appreciated for it's beauty on here.

We tried to get a view of the light shining through:

Next is a tiny work of art for my Plein Aire theme. It's more stunning than shows also. It will go very well in a grouping with the Moonlight Jackalope by kosmicgirl, as it is very grey scale. It was a very interesting sky that day, she said.

She also sent me an extra of Boothe's belt buckle from Bones, which is a seriously funny scene if you've seen it.

Finally, if I wasn't spoiled by this point, she sent me a paint spiral she made a long time ago. It's about 4X6, and I already have plans for it. Really great colors, very abstract.

Thank you for all of your thoughtful and talented work CHound!

Her paint spiral reminds me of an eyeball. I like all of it. And the light through the first one is wonderful. And have not seen Bones, but I love crafting with the foil textures, and this one is great. GOOD SCORE! And a wonderful share partner.

I finally got back from traveling last week and checked my mail and I had two ATCs!

The first from Avestel for my Artist's Choice theme.  A cute little birdy inspired by one on my pinterest. It's just gorgeous.

I received from Rosie1981 for my pickles theme.  Squee!  They're so cute.  She put a note in that she had to keep redrawing because her husband thought a few of them looked a little risque!  Smiley
