Loving the ATCs this round. They always give me ideas for new mediums, techniques, and themes.

Well, I am pleased to say I received a wonderful ATC from blupaisan. It was for my Object Head-Person Body Theme. I always love to see what people come up with for those.

Here he is, Mister Kegg. I could read an entire illustrated book about Mister Kegg. It's truly great. Thanks, blupaisan!

I am so envious of blupaisan. I wish I could just draw what's in my mind like that! Neato!

Received a few cards this week Smiley

First out is blupaisan:

I'm guessing she picked up that I'm from Sweden somewhere and made me a wonderful Christmas card.
(God Jul means Merry Christmas in swedish Smiley )
Thanks! I loved the similar cards you made in the Holiday Swap, and was hoping I would get one like them, and BINGO!

The next ones are from Rosie1981:

For my Edward Gorey theme! I love his style and you captured it superbly Rosie.

And a bonus for me! Smiley

A toaster with a monocle! How awesome is that?!? Thanks Rosie  Cheesy

kosmicgirl chose my moveables theme, then she saw that another wish of mine was 'lemonade stand'. here is the truly wonderful thing she created...

pull the tab, and the hiding little boy pops up to hand you five cents worth of lemonade. (obviously prices from my childhood...)

You probably cannot see in this old shapshot, but the price is indeed 5 cents. My friend Dolores is on the left, I am on the right.

thanks, kosmicgirl. you ALWAYS come through with flying colors!!

So sorry it took so long to photo this great "pack for a deserted island" ATC from mybabyisacommunist. It opens like a suitcase, and inside is what she'd take to an island. I can just picture her walking around with an empty bottle saying "Why is the wine gone?"

open:

Also received today from rockingbearranch, a dream catcher ATC with a real feather from her beautiful chicken, and an extra feather too. It's fabulous.

I am loving all the different cards in the gallery!   Cheesy    My very fav is the something fuzzy/something funny one with the cat!   Made me laugh out loud!   Cheesy

My turn to share.   I received some great cards this week.   Cheesy

This one is from JillHogan for my inspired by the masters theme.

She chose Degas and sent a little background to go with the art.  Smiley  She said she loves Degas and the clear strong body lines of his people and the pretty colors of the costumes.   And this is her interpretation of what a modern hip hop dancer might look like if Degas were alive today.   Thanks, Jill!    Smiley

I also received a great card for my Winter theme from mybabyisacommunist.

I love that she made it a wee little scarf and wee little 'coal' eyes, mouth and buttons!   What are these tiny little black things?   Poppy seeds?   Very cool!   Thank you!   Smiley

And then I received a really neat moveables card from blupaisan.

It's a male ballerina music box moveable.   Smiley   You put the wirey bit in the center and you can make him twirl.   Cheesy
In action:

And I was supposed to also raise the edges but I forgot to for the photo.   (sorry!)

Thanks so much, Jill, mbiac and blu!  Cheesy

In addition to the fun art, one of my favorite things about this swap is getting hand addressed letters in the mail.   Smiley  They are like little gems amidst the the bills and such.   I really miss letters with everything being digital these days.

I got two ATCs in the mail today  Grin

From Avesthel, a mouse map!  I really love handdrawn maps.  I'm so glad I chose that theme. Couch stuffing!

From Chameleonhound, G is for Glue, for my ABCs of crafting theme.  I use SO.MUCH.GLUE, I totally understand.
The G is actually drawn in glue.

Thanks!!

Meet 'Barry'!!  For my turquoise theme, created by none other than kwality570. the color is right on! so bright. And his white teeth and red tongue go great with it. He has a bracelet on, doesn't he? thank you, kwality570. It had been too long since one of yours arrived in my box.

for my Original Star Trek theme, from rockingbearranch, the episode called "the Corbomite Maneuver" and this dude is Balok.
'Three more earth segments to live... two more....' what a great episode.
He looks EXACTLY like Balok! Thanks, rbr.

So many AMAZING cards in just a couple days!

blupaisan - Mister Kegg looks great, the coloring on him is just wonderful.  (I love how I instantly recognized it as one of your cards as soon as the image loaded  Wink )  And the male ballerina... I think you are the Queen of Moveables.
Rosie1981 - That Edward Gorey card looks great!  I am not familiar with him (though I have seen his name posted on Craftster a lot lately), but I love the style of your penwork!
kosmicgirl - not only is the lemonade seller adorable, but the colors are gorgeous too.
kwality570 -- Hooray!  I have always loved your monsters.  Smiley
