I claim GrabaCoffee for an unstuffed boy snake! (2.0.0)

HI! I'm Summer from Texas. I am mom to 3 amazing boys 13, 8, & 8. We live on a ranch outside of Houston that has been in my DH's family for over 150 years. We raise and breed cattle and my sons show cattle all over the state of Texas.

Like most moms today I try to do everything! I work at a local church as the Director of Children's ministry, sit on the twins elementary school PTO, volunteer in scouts, and run around like a chicken with my head cut off. I enjoy scrapbooking, sewing, jewelry making, and various other hobbies. Hobby Lobby is my favorite store - I have memorized the layout, and frequent it often Smiley I am a diehard LSU fan - we bleed purple & gold in our home, and when we are home on a Saturday in the fall, you can be guaranteed that college football will be on the TV!

I claim texscrapper for a crosstitched pincushion.
2/0/0

Hi, my name is Anne. I live in Bremen (in Germany!) with my husband Uwe and two sweet little daughters Lea (2 years) and Hanna (2 months).  I have mild allergies (dogs, cats) and don't like cigarette/cigar smoke.  Our house is pet- and smoke-free.

My favourite colours are cream (sand, milk, stone, wool... think nature), pink, dark teal, dark brown, deep purple, and black. I use those colours for the kids as well, plus lots of bright light green. I like plain fabrics, or patterns like leaves, blossoms, polka dot, circles, stripes. We have decorated our apartment mostly in light colours (white, cream, wood) so colourful stuff is always welcome. Repurposed and/or used is always fine. I usually prefer cotton or other natural fibers over acrylics.  Also I'd be happy to receive supply only-claims.

I've set up a board on Pinterest for this swap, links to all handmade items (or at least pictures) from my list should be here: http://www.pinterest.com/annawahnsinn/craftster-ongoing-wish-swap/
You're welcome to check out the other boards (there are a lot), especially all of the Naehen (sewing) boards, want, Farben (colours) and fabric love for what I like, Kinderkram, Baby Stuff...
Not recommended are the following boards: Uwe, things to do, zum erstmal gucken, been there done that,

(I'm counting those as a crafted project, because it does take time to properly print & cut those, ink is expensive, and so far I haven't managed it myself, like knitting, for example)
O something like these dresser frames: buttons, snaps, zipper http://frauliebe.typepad.com/frauliebe/2010/02/von-der-t%C3%BCcke-des-knopfes.html

I claim anna.wahnsinn for a tote in a dark color!!!

This is my first claim
none has been sent
none has been received

Hello there !!
Im Tammy.  Im 41 and im married to a great man and mom to three handsome boys in Northern California. I moved here from OH and love it!! We purchased our first home and are thrilled!!  I like to sew, quilt.  I am starting to get into embroidery and can crochet a little bit.  Im very much into girly type stuff and love anything regency -titanic era. I also love 30s-40s things as well.  I am allergic to nickel.

Here are my wishes
Anything off my wist list is great!!

Im looking for unwanted rock concert tshirts!!  80s hairbands a plus!!!  rock, hard rock or metal!! !

New items
pair of black leg warmers (for hubby) or/and a red pair for me!! crochet or knitted ~~claimed for my pair!!!  thanks!!!

Mediums (more can be found in my list  Grin)
~~Jewelry (chokers, bracelets, earrings but please no nickel posts)
~~Aprons!!  Even though I sew them I would love to see what others come up with!!
~~My MIL is a bingo fanatic!!!  A bingo bag or a nice seat cushion would be great for a gift.
~~New purse
~~Hand warmers Victorian Goth ones would be perfect.
~~Crazy Quilted Purse.  Or any purse made by you!!
~~Regency or Victorian era Reticule  (have received but more are always welcome here!!)
~~Petticoat (cotton or cotton blend please) either knee or ankle length with some fullness to it as I like poufy skirts !! I actually wear these a lot!! (Im 5'5 email for length) (received one from farmgirljane and would love more!!)
~~I would love some soft wool socks!!  Size 7 feet  Or a pair of socks with eyelet lace sewn around the cuffs (remember to stretch the sock a bit or it wont fit  Grin)
~~I have a weird obsession with knitted cuffs!! I love them!!  Chocolate brown, red.
~~ Anything that can help me decorate my Victorian inspired sewing room
~~ Would love a first aid kit that I can keep in my car.  Can be of any medium just as long as its a bit "fun" to look at and have. After all first aid is bad enough!!   Something really creative (thats why i asking.  I cant think of anything lol)

Im also looking for a sign that says "Please no solicitors or religious groups"  I have people of one kind or another knocking at my door constantly and it makes me rather uncomfortable.

Crafted Items~~

KNITTED AND CROCHETED

I love this shawl and I am willing to wait longer if anyone will make it for me. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/CivilWarShawlKAL/  Im not picky about color.  Would be just happy to even have one.

SEWN

**Civil War Era Cape called a Mathilde Mantilla (Think of a Civil War era Poncho.  This is basically what it is)  Here is a link to the pattern http://www.uvm.edu/%7Ehag/godey/images/s5902170.jpg  and here is an example of what it looks like http://www.thegracefullady.com/civilwargowns/ready-mades_silkmantle.htm Measurements will be provided.  Wool blend or Corduroy would be great. Hood is decorative and is not functional. It only uses around 3 yards.  I would also prefer it lined for warmth. It would be great if I could retain the pattern as well for future projects.  (I can sew I just cant figure out how to make it <frown>) without a pre-drafted pattern.  OR If someone with any drafting kills wouldnt mind drafting a pattern to my size I could play around with it and make my own (If I have a pattern to work with)

Primitive Raggedy Ann doll (An example is in my wists) (Kookaloo Star sent me a lovely one but im going to leave this here cause im in love with these and would love a collection of them.)

Victorian caplet.  At least waist length please email for length.

Slat bonnet or corded can provide links if needed.  Any pattern should do as they are all basically the same result.

I would love some handkerchiefs. Monogrammed with my initials would be nice too!! (received more is welcomed)

Victorian slippers.  This pattern is from 1864
http://www.victoriana.com/VictorianShoes/victorianslipperpattern.html

Im looking for special kind of apron for my husband.  He cooks the eggs at breakfast time and is a ninjitsu martial artist.  I would love an embroidered apron that has a ninja/martial artist holding a spatula in each hand and says "Egg Master" underneath.  Fabric and colors are open as long as its durable and holds up.

Other Crafts~~~
Bars of handmade soap (the kind that is made from lye).  Lavender, oatmeal, goats milk, citrus are great however any scents are welcome!!  Or soap supplies/kit as I would love to learn how to make my own.  Plain Pre-made soap bars (cold press i think they are called) that are ready to have scents, colors, herbs ect melted and added in are appreciated too as I have young children and am concerned with having lye in the house.  <USA only>    Sad

Room sprays

Im looking for some scented oils.  I would rather these be handmade or from specialty shops and not from stores like joanns or hobby lobby ect.

Hand crafted candles are great too. Prefer either fruit and or spice scented ones or lavender (only floral scented one I like).  Im also interested in the scented candle chunks that you can melt and scent your house with.  I have received some but always appreciate more!!

Whimsey jar are really fun!!

Im loving the moon jars!! Would love to have one!! (babalina sent me two, hubby wants more lol)

Im looking for a serving tray that I can bring snacks from the kitchen to the living room.  Asian or Victorian influence a real plus.  Ive seen some nice ones made from frames (glass removed)

Im also looking for a picture frame.  about 1.5 inches or more wide/thick on the sides.  What I would like is a thin wooden back fitted to it. I dont need the glass for it.  An old vintage frame would be preferred for this.  Im going to use it as a center piece tray for candles (if you can visualize it will lay flat on the table) I can take a pic of the pic in my book if you would like to see my inspiration.

Shower curtain.  Victorian style please!! Please contact for colors.

My 18 year old loves Jack Skellington from the Nightmare before Christmas so anything with him on (appropriate for a guy) would be fantastic

Handcrafted Jewelry with Victorian influence

I Claim  frosty772 for a bingo bag for her MIL

2nd claim, 0 being shipped, 0 received

About Me: My name is Laura and I live in Maryland with my husband, 3 kids, a dog, a cat, a rabbit and a box turtle.

For most things, I would prefer items inspired by my pinterest instead of exact duplicates.

I am a stay-at-home mom and a writer. I love cross stitch and embroidery and I have a huge wall set aside for hoops. It has had many beautiful additions from swapping, but there is a smidge of room left to fill. I am a huge fan of Firefly/Serenity, steampunk, and the color blue in all shades. Most rooms in my house are white or beige with blue accents, my living room is pale green. I need some color. I'm trying to make our house feel something like a beach cottage (even tho we are about 30 minute drive from the Chesapeake bay) but the house has more of an overstuffed, cluttered, lived in feel.

Going to follow the trend and put in a holiday list format

*** BIG WISH - LOKI Ami http://www.pinterest.com/pin/216383957069919356/ ***

I claim Averia for tees for Tori and Jacob  .

2 claims  / 1 in transit / 0 received
Anna.wahnsinn for contoured burp cloths (sent)
Averia for kid tees (claimed)

My name is Christy and I live in Maryland.  I am a stay at home mommy of one really energetic and crazy hilarious daughter.  We also have a lil chihuahua "ChiChi" and a chunky bunny "Fuzz Ball". I am originally from Austin, Texas and even though I love the seasons in Maryland, I am hoping to move back to crazy hot Austin when my husband retires from the Navy.  I picked up sewing about 2 years ago and have become a crafting freak.  I mostly sew for extended family, they keep me buried in wishlists, so I was thrilled to find Craftster where I can actually get cool stuff in return for the cool stuff I sew, woop woop.

We don't have any allergies.

LIKES:
EVERYTHING in my Craftster Pinterest is game (I update my pinterest a lot!)
http://pinterest.com/watsonc7/craftster/

anything funny and/or inappropriate.  I love off the wall humor, feel free to translate that any way you want into anything you make for me

Game of Thrones, Reno 911, Arrested Development, Labyrinth, East Bound and Down, Despicable Me, (I'll be adding to this, my mind is going blank at the moment)

Peacocks, owls, birds, houses, mushrooms, trees, creatures (I'm not a crazy collector of any of them, I just find myself checking out that kind of stuff out)

Steampunk (another thing Craftster got me addicted to!)  I really love the old timey, geary, rusty, machiney look of this

DISLIKES:
crochet stuff (unless its a specific request), tie-dye, fluorescents, and I'm not a huge fan of orange, or batiks or grandmaw-ey florals.

::::SEWING/EMBROIDERY:::::

My daughter (size 8 or kids medium) refuses to give up last years ratted out kitty hoodie (this is it, pretty simple http://www.pinterest.com/pin/165577723773573552) , so I'd love to get her one made with some of her favorite specifics: (triple bonus) glow in the dark eyes/paws (her current one is glow in the dark), cute ears on hood, a deeper than normal hood to cover her face better (we like to walk to school especially in the winter so it will keep wind off her cheeks better), built-in fingerless paws (http://www.pinterest.com/pin/165577723773573555/) and ooooh a detachable tail (http://www.pinterest.com/pin/165577723773573525/).
http://www.pinterest.com/pin/165577723773573507/
http://www.pinterest.com/pin/165577723773573562/
The links are examples with different specifics in them, feel free to create your interpretation, she will freak out over any kitty hoodie I'm sure.

Fluffle Puff plush!! Or if you think you could come up with a pattern close to it then I could sew it myself, I'm not great at pattern making yet http://www.pinterest.com/pin/165577723773653997/

I actually got a Lt. Dangle poppet (http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=427858.0#axzz2gl1HHl3w) and now I just have to have all the Reno 911 characters (including Terry!) as poppets....throwing it out there just in case someone is nuts enough to pick a character and go with it Wink

pincushions --  I really love the pincushion-in-an-object idea, here's some ideas http://www.pinterest.com/watsonc7/pincushions

Cat pouch http://pinterest.com/pin/165577723773423987/

(2) Car toy bags, whatever colors.  http://pinterest.com/pin/165577723773430200/

Reusable kitchen towel rolls in full or half size sheets (half sheet preferred), any colors to match with a variety of kitchens (bonus for using three snaps a side and including the center snap roll --I've seen it on other tutorials, it holds the towels in the middle--but I can make myself if needed) http://pinterest.com/pin/248049891949374970/

I want want want this embroidery case
http://pinterest.com/pin/165577723773367728/

I claim Watsonc7 for the Lady Rainicorn scarf

(1,0,0)

Hello Craftsters
Im sparks, I live in Tampa Florida with my four children and husband. Christmas is around the corner, feel free to lighten my load. Here are a few wishes, in no particular order.

I would actually love  a M monogrammed embroidered 7 hoop or so. Something like this: http://www.etsy.com/listing/99293794/letter-m-burlap-wall-decor-alphabet-art?ref=sr_gallery_14&ga_search_query=letter+M+wall&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_ship_to=ZZ&ga_min=0&ga_max=0&ga_search_type=all   A sharp painted M on burlap or maybe a black embroidered M or out-lined M on a tea-dyed linen/muslin in a painted or fabric wrapped black hoop (ooh maybe wrapped with a black velvet ribbon). There is a tutorial for painting it here http://erickabjackson.blogspot.com/2012/10/diy-monogrammed-burlap-door-decor.html

I really like this too http://www.housebyhoff.blogspot.com/2013/05/easy-summer-starfish-wreath.html and while I like the big size, I would like a smaller version to go with my other hoops. So maybe a similar frame in an 5x7 with a twine/rope wrapped 4 inch hoop and then a starfish. Or maybe a sand dollar hoop with a twine wrapped hoop -- (this is why I do not make many things for myself. I start with one idea and it keeps evolving into something else).

I would like one of those wooden saints bracelets. Something like http://www.ebay.com/itm/HOLY-JESUS-FLOWER-WOOD-HEMATITE-MAGNETIC-SHAMBALLA-BRACELET-ST-MARY-ANGEL-/390666092672 or this http://www.catholiccompany.com/wood-saint-bracelet-3-color-beads-p2043517/  . I would like the stained glass images and if possible and in blacks and browns to wear with a prayer bracelet my uncle made.
