I saw an ad in the Craftster classifieds a few weeks ago from the Erotic Museum of Hollywood calling for submissions to a Folk Art show. They said they were especially looking for erotic needlecrafts and I thought, I do that! They were especially looking for "Outsider Artists" and I thought, that's me! And since Hollywood is about a 15 minute drive from my house I thought I'd give it a try.

Really, I'm not a pervert. I make a lot of stuff that is very different from these. It's just, every now and then I make something that would make my mother blush.

I submitted this Raggedy Anne all grown up painting that I did in 1997.

And this, that I did in 1998:

And this, that I did after I read the ad, thinking they might like it.

And yesterday I got an email saying my work has been chosen for the show! I don't know which pieces but I'm super excited I got in. I've only ever shown in small town shows before. I love Craftster for letting me know about this!
