I can't tell you how many time we read little red riding hood book. My daughter know words by her heart. I decided to make her a red riding hood costume. No pattern for dress, just eyeballing. I used pattern (making a hood was kinda rough for me...) for red cape from internet. Adjusted the straps, hem the skirt. Added the fake white apron. Lucky she still have white turtleneck shirt and a pair of black shoes to go with it. Only costed me $13.67 for the fabrics. Super happy that it did not break my bank!

This is way cuter than so many costumes that cost so much money!!  Adorable!  Great job on the cape!  I bet she keeps it to wear to play dress up all year!  Such a good job...
