I'm still at the in my head stage too, but have all the supplies.

It's exciting that I have no idea what the range of finished pages will look like (or my own)!

REMINDER - There is one week left to creat e and send.

I have no real excuse for being this late - I'm almost finished but I keep thinking I should add a bit more. So I will send one day this week but next Monday is the deadline.

And I know that weather is a factor for some of you, across the USA, so don't stress and send when you can.

I'm behind! I haven't been at home for days and I miss my little place and my sewing machine and my projects!

I no longer love the snow. It is still around, and cold cold COLD! All the water in my little cottage froze on Saturday night when it got down to -10. It's still frozen. I know some of you are thinking, snow and cold, what's the big deal? The big deal is that it doesn't usually get cold or snowy here. Winter is usually in the 40s and 50s. Our public works is ill-prepared for what we've been getting. And people do not know how to drive it - crazy maniacs!

I've been staying at my daughter's, they live on the other side of the city and on the edge of the city limits. We didn't come in to town yesterday, but today we did so we could go to work. All of the schools have been closed for days.

There are several houses on my block whose pipes have frozen and burst - you can tell because their yard and street is flooded with a huge sheet of ice. I'm really hoping and praying that my pipes will not burst.

"They" are saying it will warm up on Thursday, just in time for freezing rain. I hope not!

Stay warm everyone, I'll check in when I can!

Yikes, playswithneedles, it sounds pretty bad out there west of the Rockies. I have friends who live in a yurt in Corvallis, usually warm and cozy all winter with just a tiny pellet stove, but they're reporting that the indoor temperature isn't getting much above 60℉ these days. (Their pipes have frozen too.) I hope you get past it before Christmas comes. I grew up in northern BC with the temperature at the holidays usually somewhere around -30℃, and it's no fun! It's cold here but not unusually so.

I've sent to Heini today. This was a rare swap where I got a good idea fairly early, didn't have any false starts or do-overs, and it ended up looking at least as good as I'd imagined, maybe better. It is a nice feeling!

I'm pretty sure I finished on Sunday and I put a few finishing touches on it last night, but I still feel like something is missing... Undecided
I'm probably going to send out Saturday.

I am finished and will be sending by the end of the week with all my  holiday mail! This was fun but I underestimated the stress of getting all my stuff done this past month and it'll be nice to get all my packages out in the mail!

I sent today. Long line at the post office, but everyone seemed cheery. I had it all packaged up for 3 days and just could not get time for the line at the post office. But off it goes. I can't wait to see all the pages as they come in!.

Hey there, hi there, ho there!

There are a few folks who haven't checked in here at all, ever, since we started. How about a status update? (I'll be sending mild nastygrams via PM, if we don't hear from you!)  And let me know if you have time to send or if weather conditions will prevent you from being on time.

And PLEASE remember to PM me also, your lovely organizer, when you send or receive.
Thanks and have a nice weekend.
