More dolls! I thought I'd just combine both sets in one thread, rather than taking up two more spots on the board. Wink
This time, yes, I'm afraid there's more Doctor Who (can we say obsessed? Wink) but also something new! Sherlock dolls!

First up, A Study In Pink Plush! Sherlock dolls!

It is always super fun to try new characters, and a little nerve-wracking too, but I was super happy with how these guys turned out. They're probably some of my favourite sitting style dolls I've made (but shh! don't tell the others that! Wink)

John was one of the easiest dolls I've ever put together - he didn't make a fuss about anything! Just like John, right? Wink

Sherlock was a little more challenge, as was to be expected. First, he wears way too many layers of clothing. The coat caused me fits to try and tailor right, and his hair had to be custom curled because I couldn't find curly fake fur anywhere that didn't look like it had come from a poodle.  Roll Eyes

The Doctor Who Dolls are dressed in their outfits from "The Idiot's Lantern" and it was a bugger to dress them up like that, too.

The suiting fabric for Ten is from Spoonflower and let's just say - I'm not a fan.  Roll Eyes  But it may be my favourite 10!hair I've done to date, so that's something! Wink

Rose's dress was made from some weird slightly fuzzy pink fabric that sort of shed/disintegrated when you cut it - I got it everywhere! >.<  I had fun making her little pink accessories; hair band, shoe bows, little flower for her jacket. Quite possibly my girliest plush, ever.

Thanks for taking a peek at the results of my crafty adventures --and, if you're reading this -- for reading my crafty rambles, too! Wink <3

Wow!!! And wow, and wow again!!! Those look expensive store bought, not something home crafted. Super great job! I hope you plan on selling some of these. Other people can appreciate your talent, too!
Be proud of yourself!!!! Those are really cute, and look wonderful. Sherlock is my fave. I don't know the show, but he DOES look the hardest to craft. I love them all, and the childish faces are just darling. And your hairstyles are wonderful, too! You have a great talent with these types of dolls.

Craft on!

Wow! Cool! All of them! And your photography!

If you don't mind me asking...How in the world do you curl fake fur?

@Naantje, Thank you so much!  Kiss

@Stillatthetop.! Thank you very much!  Kiss I only have two of the dolls I've made which is a little sad in some ways, but good in another - I'd have run out of space in my craft room long ago and wouldn't be able to get any work if I'd kept them all.  Cheesy

@LimeRiot; Thank you! I confess I take too much time photographing the dolls, especially if they're part of a set and I can make them do cute things. Wink

@Calabaza; Aw, thank you! As for the fur, it's quite a long and tedious process and took me about five different experiments to find a way that worked. I hope to have a tutorial for working with fur (cutting, styling, curling, etc) up soon, so stay tuned!  Wink

@meleriffic; Thanks so much. Cheesy

SQUEE!! I love them all - as always  Grin Little Jawn, he just looks like he wants to cuddle. And Sherlock! Even though you had such difficulties, it was definitely worth it because he looks amazing! Rose is so cute and pink. I loved her outfit in that episode  Cheesy And Ten is adorable as always! I agree, his hair is amazing and I love his little flipped up collar.

Fantastic job!! You've been posting a lot of adorable dolls lately, about how long does it take you to finish each doll?

Thank you so much! Cheesy  These guys are from a few months back; but me posting them all together like this makes me seem more productive than I am. Wink  I don't know how long they take.. I only timed myself once, while making my first standing doctor doll, but gave up counting at the 20hour mark. Tongue I'm actually in the process of timing how long each doll type takes to make now though - I'll report back when I've made the dolls and tallied up the hours. Wink
