baby.sweets4ever's fifth birthday is today. Smiley  It's also his first year in school.  We wanted to send along silly celebratory sweets for him, but we have to follow food and allergy guidelines, so I had to get a wee bit creative!

For snack & share last month, I made this fun fruit tray.  So this month, for his birthday, I made muffin in ice cream cones!  FUN! Grin  I paired them with frozen Greek yogurt drops, which he fondly named "frozen birthday confetti."

I cheated and used a box mix.  I found this at our local general store and wanted to give it a go.  I added blueberry and a generous squeeze of honey.  Easy peasy!

I found the perfect fill line is right at the base of where the cone widens.  Any higher and they overflow.  Any lower and they don't pump enough. Smiley  I baked at 350 degrees for 27 minutes.

Packed and ready to go.

Genius! I'm glad you were still able to send something homemade, so many schools don't allow that any more. Frozen birthday confetti sounds awesome! Cheesy

How fun! At my kids school last year if you wanted to provide a treat for their birthday, you had to buy ice cream from the cafeteria. This is much cooler!

Happy birthday baby sweets!

Thanks!! Smiley

We went in for his circle time celebration, after snack time, and all of the littles were thanking him for his "awesome snack."  It was so cute.
