I'm starting to get an itch to make a dream catcher, and I thought, hey, this could be a fun swap!
So, dear reader, are you interested? You must be a little bit, since you're reading this ;]

This swap won't be limited to traditional dream catchers though - any medium is welcome!

Anyone have any input on making it a point based swap?

The only thing is: I've never organized a swap before, so if anyone's willing to organize that would be absolutely wonderful!

I'd be interested, but I'd take away the size, since some people might make a dream catcher out of beads or earrings and a necklace. Maybe an embroidery on a hoop or journal cover, etc. There is a lot you could do that doesn't have to be a typical dream catcher. This also opens it up for people who do other crafting, like art and paper crafts.

Love this idea! I actually made all the women on my fathers side dream catcher. I had so much fun with them even though they are very traditional, I like the idea of having p a choice to make it in a hoopla, or journal cover ^^^

Good idea, dfabbric - that certainly opens the swap up to more people and more creativity!

With the holidays coming up I'm thinking of opening the swap up the second week of January if that sounds good to most interested.

Hey folks!  mama24boyz pointed out the phrase I missed at the end of woodlyn's post, saying she's never organized and would like someone else to.  I'll be more than happy to, and mama24boyz graciously offered to be my co-organizer.  So....  I'm about to go out and do some errands, but when I get home I'll work on the Questionnaire.  Might not go up till tomorrow though, since I have family coming into town for the long weekend.  I'll be sure to let you all know when the signup thread goes up either today or tomorrow.  Cheesy
