My son's teacher is pregnant and due any day now. I get on really with her and wanted to make something for the baby.
Blanket was the obvious choice, but didn't want to go pastels (they just get dirty so quickly) and as she wasn't finding out the gender was difficult to pick a colour scheme, until I found out the due date Smiley
These colours are perfect for Halloween, but was a bit worried because they are so outside the 'normal' baby colours!
Thankfully she loved the blanket Cheesy

Really proud I actually finished it, so showing off!

It is very pretty. And why should baby blankets always be pastels?

You SHOULD be totally proud!  What a wonderful gift.  I love non-traditional baby colors as well.

Do more of what makes you happy.

I like granny squares, and non-traditional baby colors. It's perfect! I know the mother was happy to receive it.

I like that it's not traditional colours too.  It will be a great reminder of her Halloween baby over the years.
