I am nearly done but am having swap anxiety after getting my awesome package today from GatorWrangler,  I have this wonky problem I am having trouble with.  I don't know if if can fix it, or just tell her to turn it over and use the plain red side LOL.

Been busy crafting away & will send on time, but not early.

I missed the question about when do we decorate....
it depends on the kids. We've had our little faux tree up for awhile, but will get a cut tree around the 18th. I love the smell of a fresh cut tree in the house. Sadly it doesn't last due to drying from our wood burning fireplace.
Anyone have any tips on how to make a tree last longer? We've watered ours with 7up... not sure if it helps or not though.

I am not sure if this will help but when we bought our tree the guy who grows them said to chop about an inch off the bottom when you get home and stick it straight is a bucket of water. We had a metal pail with some smallish rocks in it to weight it down. He said to check the water regularly as they use a lot and we had to top the bucket up everyday.  Cheesy

We always cut some of the tree off and put it in water. Growing up, we put it in a bucket of sand.
