Mal and I had fun taking pictures at my school! And yes the last picture is of a witches broom in a glass display case, I have no clue why.

Nothing super exciting, just a shot of Clyde checking out the landscape from Castle Hill. Castle Hill is where Alaska was officially transferred from Russia to the United States in 1867 Smiley There isn't actually a castle, or any other building there any more though.

We went to Wags to Riches, a burlesque show put on by Haute Flash Burlesque and benefiting a local animal rescue group last night - it was fun and hilarious and Apti had a great time!  Now to seriously work on the scrapbook...  O.o  I know the extra time will FLY by!

Speaking of the extra time....

We are now officially 2 weeks from sendouts!!  Don't forget to get your pictures printed on time to get them in a book!  (Personally, this always takes like a hundred times longer than I think... I started mine a week ago and I still barely have half of the pictures in....)

Again, please let your organizer (Wildfyre or Mountains and Clouds) and partner know when you send an receive! (And please remember to send along that tracking number if it's in the US, and hold on to your receipt if it isn't.)

Have fun finishing up, an keep us updated!

I'm glad Jimmie's still here to experience what we call the "fifth season" here in Cologne: Carnival!!!! Today we've been to the parade organized by local schools and the districts of Cologne. It's not as big as the one on Monday, which is the climax of carnival season, but I like it much better, especially now that we have a little baby. Jimmie enjoyed it and also caught some "Kamelle" (sweets).

Jimmie's dressed as a ladybug, like Emma

I'll swap for postcards, badges, maps or brochures from everywhere in the US! I'm an English teacher and always happy about authentic material for my classroom.

Cool,  I didn't know there were other people from Cologne here!
Seems like you had a great time Smiley

Hi guys! Long time no see! Don't worry Poppy and I are still alive!

So we have recovered from my 'surprise' that everyone will learn about when my partner gets her LV back, and ordered the photographs. They should come this week. My book is all planned and I'm just finishing up a miniature suitcase my niece and I made for Poppy. It will be sad to see her go.

Remember my mistakes,
remember you can change,
Remember that it's up to you...
to go and shape your life into
one that's worth of remembering...

Jimmie is going to hate coming home to his dull boring spot on the shelf after all the fun he has had in Germany.
