I haven't had a chance to edit the second batch of Disney pics yet (crazy busy time of year when you run your own business!!) but I thought I'd share a photo of my balcony. It's entirely possible I might have over decorated it.  Two strands of regular lights, a strand of color changing icicles, snowflakes, a tree, a second spiral tree wrapped in green lights and color changing lights, a set of three gift boxes and...oh yeah, a moving deer. *laughs* LOL I tell Love that should we ever manage to actually buy a house of our own, we WILL be "that house" on the street. Grin

Tonight, we're heading to downtown St. Pete for the "Jingle Bell Run" in which Love is participating.

Oh and tomorrow, we're going to be in a PARADE! I've never been in a parade before!! So Willow will be coming along for the ride too.

Hehe, I love your lanai, PhoenixFireDesigns!!  So much fun!

I haven't had a chance to really decorate at all, since school had been crazy busy.  Our last concert with the 8th graders was last night, so I'm lookin forward to trying wrap things up a bit this week before break. We'll see- theres so much DOE stuff to do. Bleh.

Anyway, Gramayre had been following me around, but I've mostly been working constantly.  He's coming to my gigs today though, so I can hopefully get some photo ops at the theatre!

Here is my food pic. Anana was helping me make deep fried potatoes and he stumbled upon this adorable potato that he just did not have 'the heart' to cut up!!  It is from the Organic Veggie farm that my daughter works at. Quite a keeper!!

Sorry I haven't been around, I've had some bad events lately and have been focusing on them more then posting. Sorry.

Poppy and I went to the Biggest Shopping Centre in the southern Hemisphere yesterday with my mum for her birthday and got some gifts and supplies. With some of the craft supplies we made some calming jars. Mine is the dark purple one as it reminds me of the nighttime. It's fun to watch them settle and swirl. Also, Poppy is wearing one of /my/ Sylvanian Family friend's dresses right now because it is more christmassy and she was allowed to  Wink

(A few days behind on this one, but...)

Georgie accompanied us to the midnight premiere of The Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug in IMAX 3D (it's the only proper way to view a Peter Jackson film).

The glasses are not exactly Georgie-sized...

I've been so busy I'm behind on sharing all the adventures we've been on! So there will be a bunch more coming, but in the meantime, long overdue Part Two of our Disney Christmas adventure! The second stop of the night was Disney's Hollywood Studios (formally Disney-MGM Studios) to see the Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights!

Over FIVE MILLION lights cover the entire surface of every building and object on the backlot and every 10 minutes, the lights "dance" in synchronized style to music. It's truly awesome.

Entering the park

Lights!

More lights!

And still more lights!

I also have two videos to show the dancing:

Bigger/More photos plus embedded videos in the blog here: http://willow-in-fl.blogspot.com/2013/12/christmas-at-walt-disney-world-part-two.html

(Part 3, the Jingle Bell Race Friday night AND the Christmas parade I was in last night all coming eventually too!)

alright!
This week's theme might be a little repetitive for some of you... It's "home."

Show us home for you.  What's out your window? Where do you eat? Is it decorated for the holidays?

That is a perfect challenge for me. We moved on Friday and have just been sorting everything out. Ziggy has been very helpful. Pictures to follow.

We have been going out and about in our local town quite a lot and each time I have found places I want to show Wuudy but I am waiting for a day without tons of wet snow or rain.
