Wow, that's lovely. I want to go to Neuschwannstein Schloss (sp?) in Bavaria , it was in the cards for later this year, but now it looks like we are finally moving. (I learnt about it in school, many, many years ago and have always wanted to go)

I haven't seen this cathedral, but it looks amazing.

Pictures of Pisa will be coming soon.

No local landmarks yet, but Wuudy has been making friends.

Here he is with Phoebe

And he spent some time rolling around on the floor with Floppsy who did not want to pose

Billy has been introducing him to American football

He went to school with my daughter one day to get a look at an American high school, but apparently they spent the day "snap chatting" which is some app for taking pictures that doesn't save the pictures? So although she took hundreds of pictures of him, they are all gone? I think she missed the point, tho Wuudy had a great time and all her friends love him.

Wow that cathedral is beautiful.  I'm not so sure I can get a pic of something this week.  A huge storm is coming in tonight and we are expecing ice and stuff. (I know, it's not a big deal to a lot of people, but I don't trust drivers in Texas in the winter!)

Anuenue hasn't had many adventures since she arrived unfortunately as I have not been well. However she has been up to a few things and has reminded me this evening I need to upload some pics so her mummy can see she is safe and happy.

As well as being poorly I have been majorly crafting for the Christmas Stocking Swap. I needed a break from it - and decided to make something for me - which I VERY rarely do! Anuenue wanted to help me - and we made a necklace for her too:

One of the first weekends we arrived - we went to South Shields for the weekend - which was a LONG drive! Here she is looking out of the hotel window - although it was rather a boring view! I did not realise how filthy the windows were until I was sorting out this pic!

she wanted to post a picture of the finished necklace she helped make for me too - I think she's rather proud of it - she was certainly helpful in making it - kept passing me the right beads!

She is SO excited to spend Christmas in England - especially when I said we might get snow! She has been going on and on about how excited she is - so when I was taking photos of the ornaments I have received from the Christmas Sweat shoppe swap she dived right in - and made friends with a gingerbread man and an angel - the three of them were admiring the other crafts.

Whoops. Thought I'd posted photos here again, but doesn't seem to. So sorry! Smiley And thanks for the little nudge, Mountains and clouds.

Weeeeell... what have we been doing? AD & Adi have been to 2 (American) Football games (University league in the UK at this time of year) and felt quite at home. Smiley The first one was at the 10 year anniversary of the University Team hubby helped to form.

Then we've been to lots of soft play places

And went by bus for lunch to a very nice cafe (which, unfortunately, has now been closed due to the owner having cancer) - or more like "tea and cake!"

But I think the most important day for the Poses so far was yesterday - watching "The Day of the Doctor". They've been cuddling up with the "Hobbits" and hiding under the blanket every time one of the 3 (!!!!) Doctors appeared on screen ... which... given their persona (the Poses, not the Doctors') is just understandable. Wink

Tomorrow we'll be taking the bus into town and hopefully get some nice photos from there. Smiley And then it's getting packing for the trip to Germany! Shocked Busy busy busy... Cheesy

There are some very very cute pics in this gallery!  Been working on an accessory for Anana but every night my kitten yanks it off the table and it's back to square one. Ya'd think I'd learn! Anyhoo, will try again this week then submit a pic of A's adventure with it!

Welllll, this year is in a sever wallet pinch, so  today I came away from the foodshelf with four bags of traditional food. I am hoping to make the actual day as low key and stress free as possible which for me means crafting!!
Here is a pic of  Anana holding a bit of embroidery for me as it dries, for another swap.

Ziggy has returned from Pisa.  There are tons of cultural shots to be sorted through.

I will upload, once we have sifted through washing and chilled!

We had our first serious snowfall last week. We only ended up with about 6" all together plus 3 days where the high temp didn't get past freezing. Then the temps rose 15 degrees over night and it poured rain for 3 days straight :p I guess that's life in a temperate rainforest..
Anyway, I hadn't finished his hat yet, but here is Clyde down at the beach Smiley
