YAY!!!

The Poses (A.D. and GF Adi) arrived in cold (but for a change sunny) Scotland!! Smiley

Lots of yummie goodies from Smeddley, and no problem with Customs/Immigration - at least the postie didn't say anything! Wink

The Hobbits and me are going to a big Farm while the weather still holds, so I'm glad to report the Poses will have their first outing today. Smiley

Q: Do you have any plans (trips, events, whatever) planned for the upcoming months while your Little Visitor is around?  Please share!

Not much definitively planned out yet. A trip to Arlington for Thanksgiving, Bloomsburg PA for Tuba Christmas on Dec 7th. We are thinking of signing our son up for Tuba Christmas at the Kennedy Center too...  just to say he played at the Kennedy Center.

The longest trip I probably have planned for this winter is to Fairfax VA for a Christmas party... and MAYBE to Ashburn VA to help a friend work on her wedding crafts. But we will be doing lots of fun things here in Hampton Roads!

Yay! I'm glad they didn't get promptly booted out of the country for sneaking in!  And that none of the food got confiscated...  They almost certainly would have put up a fight (they like their food!) and your first meeting might have been you bailing them out of jail...

As for trips, I have nothing planned. Apti's in for a boring visit, I'm afraid, just local everyday stuff.  And lots and lots of crafting...

Not much planned at the moment - fireworks tomorrow I hope, National Railway Museum to see Father Christmas in December and playing with friends is about it until February when it'll be DS1's 5th birthday. I will also try  to arrange for him to go to nursery and school so he can see what goes on there as well Smiley

Hope Rastabug isn't going to be too bored spending most of his time at home with me and DH :/

That sounds awesome!  Our tuba Christmas is usually just at the mall like everyone else Tongue

We may get to go to WA state for December. But it's all up in the air right now because I'm trying to rustle up the funds. If we do go, Clyde would get to ride the Alaska Marine Highway with us. We would take the ferry from here to Bellingham, WA. It takes 3 days down and almost 5 days to come back up Smiley
Oh that sounds neat! It still is so odd to me to even think about not having drive-in access to where you live. Especially since I live in a very tourist state and lots of people drive to get here and DEFINITELY drive around the state once they arrive. Wink

As for me, no trips planned. We took a weekend getaway vacation during the last round for our anniversary. But we'll definitely head out to Orlando (a little more than an hour away) to let Willow see Walt Disney World all done up for Christmas. It's always quite lovely. Since our immediate families live here so we don't go far for the holidays normally.

We'll be staying mostly close around home, but A.D. and Adi will be going on a nice trip to Germany to visit my family - and they'll go a see a couple of Christmas Markets there (one small, local to my mum's, and the big one in Frankfurt)! Cheesy

I am hoping to go away for my birthday in a couple of weeks, not sure where yet, probably depends on whether my new passport arrives in time.

Other than that, we will go for a bike ride as soon as we get good weather on the weekend!!

Not sure what else yet, but I'm sure we will find fun things to do.

Germany, too? Man, I'm jealous of AD and Adi!

Apti arrived today!  A little jet-lagged, and travel-weary, which means he's okay with spending a few days just playing Lego Marvel and Lego City Undercover... Cheesy

Oh, and rehearsals for Saturday's performance.

And he got here just in time to try this week's new food... twig tea!

...he's undecided.
