Here is a little hand quilted Day of the Dead piece.  The top is dupioni, some cheapy baby crib batting in the middle, and the back is the same spider print cotton as the casket pieces.  The skeletons are little plastic Halloween decorations my friend found in her amazing seasonal stash.  I made the flower using silver lame and the Bucket List Girl tutorial:


This is my first time hand quilting, and I think I'm hooked!  Smiley
