I got a wonderful package from Jazzybelle last night!  I was so excited to get it!  And I just love everything!  I took lots of pics, so this will be pretty picture-heavy:

First, I got cute notebook:

A Cruella DeVil wallet:

A crocheted purse that looks like Pluto!  How creative!  Love this little cutie!

A keychain that had me confused for a brief moment.  Looks like Nemo's aquarium on the outside...

But there's an emergency sewing kit inside!  So clever!

And I got a great non-Disney bonus!  Shortly after the swap started, I looked at Jazzybelle's website and commented to her how much I loved her crocheted hats.  Well, she sent me a hat, and a scarf and earrings to match!  (Oh, and the little flower that was in the notebook picture was wrapped around the scarf.  I'm thinking that could be wrapped around a ponytail?)

Thank you for everything Jazzybelle!   Kiss

Well, you CAN wrap it around a ponytail (creative use!) but it's meant to be a scarf tie. You bring it around the scarf and pop the flower through the loop. I personally don't like tying my scarves, because it makes it really bulky, and I found ties like that are a good solution AND fancy up a scarf. Not that I wear them anymore, living in LA. :-P

And ha, I know some of it's so random, like the wallet. I know you didn't ask for it, but I thought it would be really cute, you know? I'll send the other half once it's made. :-)

How cute!  I've been ready to send my stuff out for a few days now but I've been worrying about whether or not my swap partner will like the things I'm sending her, whether I'm sending her enough, etc.  What can I say?  First swap jitters.

I AM IN LOVE.

Amelia (knitsybitsy) sent me THE MOST GORGEOUS PURSE and lanyard. I am so so so happy and impressed.

^^ She put Jasmine on the buttons!

^^She put Jasmine on the lanyard!

^^Pins she sent.

My favorite part of the whole thing is that she sewed the word "Jasmine" in silver thread on the outside. It's so subtle and gorgeous! It's all so sparkly. :-P

Thank you so much!

Here are the links to the pictures of the items I made for BrandieGurl28. I can never get them to show up any other way!

I made her a picture frame with Alice in Wonderland fabric, a photo album with Dumbo, and a wall hanging made from a vintage piece of Peter Pan fabric with a Captain Hook border.

Since aeillill received my package, and is busy running the swap, I figured I'd post pictures of what I sent  her.

Here is a fabric CD holder themed after Maleficent and her crows from Sleeping Beauty.

And here's a Mickey Mouse head pillow made out of a really cool purple fabric.

And here's a Mickey Mouse ceramic I painted.

I'm so glad to hear you liked what I sent you so far Jasmine (Jazzybelle)!  I was a little worried about the purse, since it was my first time making one, but I'm thrilled that you like it so much!  The other half of your package is on its way today!

Here's the stuff I got from pink_dinosaur!

An overall view of my loot:

A closeup of the gorgeous princess gift bag:

A bookmark with my favorite Disney princess, accompanied by my current summer reading book (I've also found that this can double as a bracelet while I'm reading!):

Both the back and front covers of a journal she sent me made from clear (packing?) tape and cool paper.  I love to write so this is great.

A sample of one of the pages inside the journal (this picture was my favorite):

An awesome Jasmine keychain which has, as you can see, already been put to use:

And finally-- a princess pen that I can use to write in my journal and a candy tin.  (complete with candy):

Thanks so much.  This swap was a great one to participate in, especially for a first-timer like me!

Oh my gosh, I think I forgot.

My swap partner, KnitsyBitsy is AMAZING. She made me a memory board! It's AWESOME! It's become my unofficial "college board". I'll post pictures fairly soon! I'm a lazy bum, but for real I love it!

Grasshopper got the loot I sent her, so here are the pics:

Group Shot- There were Luv Bug socks, a mix CD, Mickey luggage tag, Goofy Mini-Journal, Pluto mini x-stitch kit, marble magnets (starring Mary Poppins, Herbie the Luv Bug, The Country Bears, and Chittiy-Chitty Bang Bang), light-up Mickey ink pen, assorted Disney stickers, and Marry Poppins inspired mirror and earrings!

Mirror-

Close-up of the "measuring tape" ribbon detail:

"Spoonful of Sugar" earrings (they help the medicine go down!)-

Cover of Goofy Mini-Jornal (blank pages inside)-

Mix CD songlist-

Grasshopper's movies of choice were MAry Poppins, The Country Bears, and any other live action 60s flicks.  I had fun trying to figure ways of incorporating the Poppins themes into crafts.  ^_^

Finally, I hope the images aren't TOO HUGE. >_<

Okay, I know i've kinda disappeared and I haven't updated the sent/received page or left feedback.  You can expect to have that by either the end of today or tommorrow, I'm trying to wrap this swap up.

On a positive note, as far as I can tell there's been no flakers!  Thanks for making this a great swap!

well, i'd be willing to organize a round 2 around October, that's the next time i'd be able to put aside enough time to take care of this.  If anyone else would want to do a ver. 2.0 before that they're more then welcome too
