I'm not really sure if this counts as a craft per se, but I'm really proud of how this turned out and wanted to share. J and I did this last year and had a lot of fun putting together a pumpkin so we figured we do it again this year. According to the rules, she has to pick a storybook character and do everything herself. Shhh...

This year J choose Cinderella, she wanted to make a carriage and the clock tower. The carriage is paper mache with wire wheels and painted then glitterized. The clock tower is just a paper towel roll with a paper top, painted. The Cinderella is the pumpkin, of course, with yarn hair, a piece of wire ribbon hot glued to it and painted on face. I wielded the hot glue and helped make the paper mache, but J did all the rest herself.

Last year we made Puss In Boots...

The hat and boots are cardboard (we used a Crystal Light box), the ears and tail are felt. J drew the face and painted it. She got third place and is hoping for first this year.

I do a lot of crafts from macrame to making my own lip balm.
