Hi!! This is a Matthew Williamson design from Burda issue 09/2012. Im very happy with this dress, its an ultra chic and flattering pattern! The fabric is a thick satin I had bought to make purses. I think it paired very well with the Matthew Williamson design.

Was the fabric difficult to work with?

The cut is fabulous...and of course, you placed the flowers in just the right spots to highlight the fabric...

It is also slimming...but I think it is because it looks like you have lost weight!  Your dresses seem to be getting slimmer in style as well...I love it!

Thank you all girls!! I'm so glad you like my dress Smiley the shoes are old, I bought them here in Greece some years ago and they have the same color with the dress. I haven't lost weight, I can't stop eating Sad Sad Sad It was the first pattern I traced in size 38 instead of my previous 36 Angry Angry But the dress is really slimming and the pattern is very flattering and make me look thinner Wink The fabric was not hard to handle at all because it was thick and not very slippery, the only difficulty was the flower placement!

just a quick note to the US members...size 38 is size 10 so that is still a small size in my mind since the average usa woman is now size 14-18, or Euro size 42-46! Grin

I do think the cut would be great for us fuller gals as well!

Sure it is flattering for fuller gals, it would be very boom boom on a curvy lady!
