I am trying  find a do it yourself recipe (preferably  made out of household/common materials but it's just a preference) to make claythat I can mold into a bowl-shape.

The problem is that I do NOT have a kiln.

This is a big problem because 1) The clay can't be the kind that needs a kiln to be dried (Duh!),

and MOST IMPORTANTLY

2)  I want the end result bowl to be Fire-PROOF .... (if you were a genie and I would add another request I would say that I'd like it to be a reciep for clay that won't shatter/come apart over time as this will be a gift.)

.....sorry for the tough one!  Any suggestions?

Thanks!

This almost sounds like you might want to look into cement.  It doesn't need a kiln and from what I understand, it can be fireproof.  I would definitely do more research on that but it might give you a direction to look at.

Good luck!
