I have been rather in love with making tags lately and this is the first set I made.  I made about 6 of these and added them as an extra for my OTT Holiday ornament swap with pjr107.  They are made with the large sized manila shipping tags from Staples as the base.

They were inspired by some of the distress Tim Holtz style tags out and about.

I spread some white acrylic paint randomly across one face of it and embossed snowflakes in clear embossing powder, then went to town inking in blues.

I die cut the doe shape from inked aluminum tape

I inked a sentiment on the back - they are rather large, but I did make them with the intention of them being used as large gift tags.  They also inspired me to make a variety of them in a similar manner.

I posted more about it on my blog if anyone is interested.  What do you think?

That's a really pretty set of tags. I love the snowflakes, and I bet they look even better in real life.

Thank you - swirling white acrylic on the face of the tag as a base, then embossing the snowflakes with clear gave a neat effect.  It kick started a tag making frenzy for me Cheesy
