Willing to personal swap for art of my doggies!

I made this for crazyda79 for the FOC Secret Swap this summer - 7 butterflies was something of personal meaning and significance to her so I made a butterfly themed package and really wanted to make a piece of jewelry for her.

I had a variety of leather pieces in different colours and textures, so I cut a variety of small pieces and embossed them with the wet embossing method I had used before.  I then die cut them into butterfly shapes.  To link them, I cut small holes and added eyelets and strung them together, with one dangling down in the center.  I used ribbon, so that she could vary the length of it - use it as a choker or let it hang at a longer necklace length.  Or it is long enough that it could be used as a belt too, if she wanted.

I posted some more about it in my blog. I quite like how it turned out - what do you think?

This is so beautiful & unique! I love the different textures on the butterflies & think how you attached them to each other is so clever.

Thank you - I love getting leather pieces and playing around with texturing and colouring them.  It is a great way to use up little scrap pieces that you may otherwise throw out

I agree totally with this, everything I would have said.
