Mirrors! Found a brown ceramic plate/tray,fit an octagonal mirror inside, and beads in the corners.

I think that was worth fifty cents, don't you?

Then,I bought a frame on clearance for 2.50 at Dollar General. Removed the glass. The fancy embossed mat was a dark grey plastic. Lots of rub n'buff, then paint, then sealer.

More beads from the multistrand necklace I used in the blue mirroe.

The mirror is one of these, frame painted black. Locker mirror, one dollar.

And another compact. I should have just used the swan and left the background black.

So, I picked up some small frames from the thrift store to make ring holders. Found the perfect scrapbook paper for each of them, was smug at how easy they went together. The little ceramic frame I promptly dropped the second I finished it, and cracked the frame in four places. The green frame-I brushed sealer over the paper, since it'd be going by the sink. The paper promptly buckled. I tried to smooth it back down right away, and tore a hunk off. That's why there's a flat gold bead there.

Ah,well. One's in the bathroom, the other in the kitchen. Next time will be better!
