Paper and Ephemera Swap - ROUND 10!
Gallery

It's been a couple of years since we got to share our paper and ephemera stashes, so let's see how much joy we can pack into an envelope! This will be an easy, low-stress swap for the period leading up to the holidays. I have followed the plan laid out by Dragonflower in Round 9. She suggested three options, so people can participate at the level that suits them best:

Option 1. You and your partner each send the other a regular No. 10 or A4 envelope full of papercrafting goodies. (That's a regular business-sized envelope.)

Option 2. You and your partner each send the other a standard (C4 or 9x12) manila envelope full of papercrafting goodies.

Option 3 Givers and Needers Option. If you have a lot of papercrafting items to share and would like to destash, you may want to be a Giver. If you want to get into papercrafting, but cant afford or find supplies, you may want to be a Needer. Each Giver will fill a 9x12 envelope with assorted papercrafting supplies and send this to their partnered Needer. In exchange, their partnered Needer will craft AT LEAST ONE small papercrafting item and send it to their Giver. (These items do not have to be made of the received supplies.)
***Please note: If you choose to be a Giver, you must give some description of what sort of papercrafting supplies you have to offer. If I have an uneven number of Givers and Needers, I will PM the last person(s) to sign up to see if you wish to choose one of the other two options.

Update: You may choose either ONE or TWO partners. If you choose to have two partners, you should choose different options for each, eg. Large Envelope and Giver, not Giver and Giver.

You must at least fill the agreed-upon size of envelope, but you are welcome to send more if you like. Just discuss what you plan to send with your partner, so no one feels like they didn't send enough. As this is a paper swap, no Delivery Confirmation Number is required, but if something goes horribly wrong and your envelope is lost, you will have to send your partner another one. This is a great swap for international participants, because you should be able to mail your envelope for standard letter postage, and you'll get cool foreign stuff!

If you want to participate, information to send to organizer:

After googling "Ephemera" I get the idea! It is tempting!

Thinking it over, will have to go through my stash looking for some nice stuff and think where to buy paper and such. There aren't any good hobby shops nearby..
I guess it is nice for others to receive Dutch goodies.

I don't do a lot of papercrafting nowadays, but I always enjoyed it!

Oh and doing a swap with Wulf as an organizer is on my wishlist  Cheesy

Hmmm - this is a tempting swap; love the idea of a low stress swap before the Christmas crafting season.

In Round 8 , people had an option for one or two partners, but since it didn't look like too many people asked for two, I left it at one partner each for simplicity. But if there's interest, I could offer the option of two partners. Any other takers?

Hmmm... I didn't get one from you. I wonder what went wrong.

I will join this if I can find a suitable pile of material.  Smiley

Something tells me you will, Ludi!

I should add that your "ephemera" can include just about anything made of paper or cardboard, or that's flat and lightweight, even if it's not actually paper. Think of photographs, bottle or package labels, tags, postcards, newspaper and magazine clippings, book pages, printed or coloured paper, bits of ribbon or trim, pressed leaves, postage stamps, small paintings, cookie fortunes, old prints or engravings, tickets, public transit material, maps, fruit labels, silk flowers, brochures, booklets... you name it. As long as you think it's something your partner might be able to use in a collage, journal or scrapbook page, assemblage or any other kind of paper craft. Even if you just have a lot of scraps of scrapbooking paper and other embellishments - that's good too!
