... and since everyone seems to hate pink, that took care of itself! Cheesy

Hahaha! LOL!! You made me laugh!  Grin

(BTW I don't hate pink, but who cares?!  Wink )

I just walked through the Junk Room - the magical room that exists in every school, where teachers hoard and save and collect every manner of stuff and things - so I have a good pile of goodies already for my 2 partners.

Smmarrt, what a great idea! Right now I have "Autumn holiday"  but next week I will visit that room in our school to have a look! Thanks for sharing, didn't think of that myself  Roll Eyes

Ohhhhh - I wish we had something like that.  I work in a hospital and have to be super careful that anything I bring home doesn't contain confidential information - or is biohazardous.

However, there has been some awesome materials I have found - like a fibrous liner that came in packages of adult briefs (clean of course).  It would be awesome for a texture layer on mixed media like a journal page.

The "crafting" period is rather short for this one, but nonetheless I think a lot of people are going to send early. I hadn't thought of using the actual envelope to gather stuff into, but it's perfect because you know exactly when to stop. Otherwise it's easy to accumulate way too much stuff to fit.

Remember that the envelope should be thin enough to still qualify as a "letter" by your local postal standards. Here in Canada the postal clerk passes it through a kind of slot gauge, and if it won't fit it's a package.

I've already got an envelop ready and packing. Now that I'm on the lookout for things to use and send, it's amazing what's out there!
