I started gathering some stuff together. I was afraid I wouldn't have that much paper and trinkets and stuff, but I'm pretty okay until now  Grin I have more paper than I thought (oops, did I say that outloud??)

And I have an envelope too, tomorrow I will check if the size is right. I am not that into inches, we use the metric system in the Netherlands.

I hope it is according your likings, Wulf!

The European equivalent of a 9"x12" envelope is a C4 - 324mm x 229 mm.

I hope to end out on Monday. I keep putting stuff in the envelope and it still doesn't seem too full. I think I must be overlooking something.

Thanks Wulf! I will measure it!

And are you sure your envelope is still closed at the bottom??  Wink

I always try with my own letter slot, ours is quite small so if it fits, I'm okay.

Oh my goodness,  I went to that book and paper show and luckily I limited my time and money there.   There was an awesome Alice in Wonderland piece I wanted.... but I was afraid of what the price was.  Regardless, I now have some (more) cool vintage postcards, and documents from the late 1800s to early 1900s, and two awesome mid century copies of women's magazines with great vintage advertising.  Yes, I plan on sharing my bounty!

Lucky lady! Wish we had something like that near me. Did pick up some old texts from our Friends of the Library book sale. They were in terrible condition, so I didn't feel too bad about de-constructing them for papercrafting purposes. Thought I'd do the same with some children's classics until I got them home and had a better look at them. I just can't made myself destroy them, so am thinking about making photocopies of them instead. Same is true of an 1896 edition of The Beginner's American History, just too special to turn into a craft project.

I am done filling my envelope...I just need to make a stop at the post office to drop it off.
Mondays are usually quite chaotic, so I'm thinking Tuesday or Wednesday at the latest! Cheesy

I was planning on heading to the large reference library downtown after the show.  They have a store set up in there and you can get great used materials there.  But my downfall is buying things I ultimately want to keep and read.  But I got vintage dictionaries, sheet music, French books, Japansse, etc there.  Love your local library!

The supplies I'm waiting on were supposed to be sent out five days ago, but still haven't shipped yet.  Sad  My envelope for geekgirl1000100 is busting at the seams, though, so even if those few fun things don't make it here on time, it should still be a good haul!  Cheesy

I did a little crafting for my partner yesterday... hopefully she likes her goodies!  I have a couple other little things up my sleeve and then I should be ready to send.  Smiley
