No, we don't always have to make the same project. We actually started out with freebie nights before we were officially official, and I think it's good to include those every so often. I think having structured projects helps out the less crafty members though. We all end up learning something new too.

What in the heck are those?  Cheesy Interesting, but...what the hey?

All up for your craft night. Please add a little more detailed info, so we can know what you have done.

Additions: perhaps give a simple subject. Say, a project like: fabric craft, yarn craft, wax craft. And see what members come up with. And not that they have to stick to that. Open air for whatever they wish to share, but just an idea? For something new to do. Or they could throw a new project in there, too. Just ideas. See how you would like to work things. It looks like fun!  Grin

Sorry! I didn't even think of explaining what they are. They are art pieces made out of foil, glue, cardboard, and shoe polish. I found the tutorial here:http://makeitawonderfullife.blogspot.com/search?q=foil+art

Also, general theme nights fabric craft, yarn craft, wax craft, etc. sound like a good idea as well. I like to mix it up. Sometimes we will have a structured craft, sometimes a general theme, and sometimes free craft. Actually, I was surprised that one of my friends really wanted me to plan some more structured crafts for them.
