I also sewed clear beads along the light patterns.

I like how you did that! Great job. Smiley

Wow, the yellow wallpaper quilt is wonderful.

Also love the prism. Dark Side of the Moon is quite arguably the best album of all time.

And, I received this awesome quilt from donniesgirl over the weekend:

It is a fire power samurai Mario!!! How awesome is that?!?!

She was inspired to incorporate some culture into her quilting, which I absolutely love and sincerely appreciate. Here's a close up of Mario:

And the quilting is actually sashiko embroidery, which is a wonderful touch and so unique. Here's a pic of the back to show off another view of the embroidery technique and to show her perfect binding:

And last but not least, my happy kiddo with his MAQ:

She also sent a Naruto Manga for DJ and I to read together. We've already started it.

Thanks so much, donniesgirl!!! This MAQ is VERY LOVED!!!

Action shot:

Grin  He's sort of truncated, but he was wearing his undies so I had to Photoshop it.  He was making the cowboys "swim in the river."
