Yay! I hope your kiddo loves it donniesgirl!

You've been such a great partner considering what your family is going through right now. I never would have even known if you hadn't said anything, and I appreciate you taking the time to stay in communication and even put up great pics!

I received the most beautiful quilt in the mail today.  I love it!  I will post pics tomorrow whenif the sun comes out.  Feel free to post one in the meantime Mare!  Thank you so much.  I did get some focus time in on yours today.  I might just get it in the mail this week!

I received a great little MAQ from Jen Sews! It incorporates a few of my themes- purple, patchy, scrappy, and quilty. She used a quote/line from a fav song that I love. Another thing I love about this MAQ is that bc it is a little smaller, it can be hung in a smaller area that my other bigger MAQs couldnt fit. There is lots of hand quilting too! Check it out!

A couple of detail shots:

Free motion embroidered words! I need to learn how to do this.

Love the different textiles used for "LOVE." The "O" is crocheted, and the "V" looks like it may be cut from a sweater type shirt.

Thanks Jen! It was fun swapping with you again. Now to find the perfect spot to hang it! Smiley

I received late last week. But due to the unwanted and unwarranted early arrival of Jack Frost and his ilk I had to hold off on pics until Mr Sun reappeared.

Playswithneedles sent me a beautiful paper pieced MAQ. In an S shape.  Grin it matches my living room perfectly. And i cannot fathom the work that went into this. Paper piecing and i have. A pretty tenuous relationship.

Thank you so very much playswithneedles!

Seeking scraps! I'm in need of a variety of white on white scraps. (2.5inch square minimum) for pixel quilts. Have any? Swap for? PM me! Smiley

Thank you so very much playswithneedles!

You are so welcome, I'm glad that you like it! I've been wanting to do a NY beauty quilt for a long time. I love paper piecing, but to be honest, I'm not sure I could do these for a full sized quilt!

The quilts are amazing.

Here is my absolutely gorgeous quilt from Mare Mare.

It is stunning.  The quarter circles are really cool.  Thank you so much.

I am finally almost back in the game.  I've reached the binding stage and should be able to get Mare's to the post office later this week.  I am so sorry for the delay Mare.  --ww
