Was this the package from your partner or an angel package?

All of the items are fabulous!  I like what you plan on doing with your yarns...they both are so lovely...and what is this chain crochet scarf out of t-shirt yarn of which you speak?  I just cut up a bunch of t-shirts for a rug, but I really don't need another rug! Grin

oh no...I just realized that I forgot to post the items I received...just the teaser picture!!! oh, I have holiday brain already....

1. Something local

Postcards from where ladybugsandbumbees lives!  I collect them for my craft room walls!

2. Something green
Beautiful scarf and mitt set---I know I will be wearing these a lot this cold winter!

3. Something recycled
This is the coolest yarn holder made from a plastic soda bottle and then with a drawstring crochet top!  I must learn how these are made as it is so handy for one skein projects!  The yarn is lovely chunky Malabgrigo from a local yarn store...so more local and it was senders choice!

4. Something hard and
5. Something funny

Lovely crafting buttons and stitch markers! (something hard)

ha ha the Moose paper is made from recycled Moose poo!!!  The odd thing, which makes it funnier, is that it is suppose to be an Alaskan product but it is made in Thailand...we laughed over this one!

6. Something related to the letter 'M'
Beautiful Multi-colored crochet banner--it is so huge, that I am having trouble taking a picture...I'll figure it out and then post
*insert pic here*

7. Something dotted
Fabulouse dotted fabric...great for lining small bags that I make with old sweaters!

8. Sender's choice--Yarn (see above) and lots of other goodies--some were for a personal swap but I was not sure what was what so I am posting them in both places!

Fabulous crochet bowl...love love the colors! Filled with pens, tags with funny crafting sayings...tissues, mini frame, hot chocolate

Once again, thank you LBABB and kayrun for a happy surprise!

I love my angel... Kiss

I am going to post the cowl I made from the yarn later...it turned out beautiful and so soft!  I rarely keep things I make for myself, but this one, I am keeping!

what a relief that zombiecazz's pkg finally arrived!
I had just made the angel arrangments when she PM'd me the happy news  Smiley
(the post took 5.5 weeks to get it to her -- aiyiyiyi)

anyway, the items are wonderful --
great job, Sydney!  (I'm esp fond of the dotted earbud holder & the mitered towel,
and of COURSE candy is always a great item to include  Smiley

also, Barbara made such a wonderful angel pkg -- thanks for posting pics, alwaysinmyroom!
In that pkg, my faves are dotted fabric, the crochet bowl (and the moose paper is hilarious --
oh the irony Smiley

I'll plan to leave the rest of the feedback tonight or tomorrow.....
all's well that ends well & I sure appreciate the sweetness & patience of everyone
involved this round!
Hugs to all of you....I'm thankful to be a part of such a great crafting community~

SO HAPPY it got there!  And that you like everything.  I was worried about the chocolate making it through the post, especially after how long it took (curse you Canada post!)

AMIR, is the cowl you speak of from the yarn I sent you?  If so, that's funny...the lady at the yarn shop was a real snob when I had to set a limit on how much I could spend on yarn...when she finally found that yarn for me, she made a remark to the effect of:  "Well, it's not a lot, but she'll probably be able to get a cowl out of it."

Errggh...only for you AMIR, only for you!  Grin Kiss

I usually only get one hank of nice yarn at a time...I have several projects that use only one very special yarn...and I try to use stitches that are a bit more time-consuming for the special yarns...what a snob!  She would be better off if she had one skein projects on hand...I think she might sell more...that is what our yarn shop does...they make and show off what you can make with one beautiful skein of yarn! This is the chain scarf I was talking about http://nomsaknits.blogspot.co.uk/2009/02/loop-d-loops.html

I made one once for a swap reminded me of octopus tentacles pic of my one

all the cats had a go of the Catnip bunnies. They are so cute.
All the candy arrived in one piece.
Looking forward to playing with my yarns.
