Amazing packages so far!  All that fibre is beautiful!  Got an email saying I have a package waiting for me, might be my swap!  We'll see tomorrow...

I think it might be. I checked tracking and it said it had been delivered.

Lots of awesome loot.

What's bare bottom Farm?

Wow!  Lots of yarn and fiber goodies!

I am curious about the double-needle holder things...how do they work?

All of the hand spun and hand dyed stuff is wonderful since I do not know how to do any of that but want to learn...

I received from P_E_S_T today! Such an amazing lady!

Everything:

Something local- some yarn from what I think is a local alpaca, is that right P_E_S_T? I already have a plan in the making for it! a very pretty gray.:

"M"- a mug warmer. I must admit- I've never used one but I have it on my coffee cup right now. They make cups so much cuter!:

Something dotted- buttons! Some very pretty ones that I'll have to find the perfect project for!:

Something funny- A turtle! I absolutely love what she wrote, "because every journey involves carrying something heavy." My daughter is in love with him:

Something hard- "timeless love." A heart pendant that I will be wearing tomorrow. Smiley

Something green- This is where Kayrun is amazing at organizing partners. P_E_S_T is a therapist and I am one in training. This is for when "you or a client need to turn over a new one." I think this is such an amazing idea and will probably incorporate something like this into my practice. P_E_S_T, you need to tell me how to make these..please.

Something recycled- P_E_S_T is brave! I've tried working with Sari yarn once and I won't do it again! These are to hang in a room for scent with some amazing smelling oil.

Sender's choice- I have a poster on pintrest that is about a therapist's heart and she was inspired by it and made something for inside a knitter's heart. It's a needle roll! I'm in love with this times a million:

Needles to say, I have an amazing partner. Smiley

OK--now that is a package that I can relate to in so many ways!  Wonderful knitted goodness and stuff for knitters...the needle roll is so inspiring...as is everything...makes me happy to be part of this crowd!

Great job, P_E_S_T!

It most certainly is alpaca yarn Smiley xx the felted leaves are it's green merino and a little brown welt felted, then I used my extra sharp scissors to cut them out.
I sewed on the veins using gold thread and my sewing machine and then just added some beads, I thought maybe your clients could choose a different coloured bead to represent something that they wanted to work on.
It was a delight to craft for a fellow therapist - I'm so glad you liked it all - was a tad worried about the yarn seeing everyone else's !!!! But it is 100% alpaca and in fact it is baby alpaca fleece Smiley - so be careful when you wash it x

LATEST project - I'm compiling a "handed down" recipes boom and so if I get you in a swap, would you be so kind to find a recipe from your childhood. type it up - if you want to decorate, then please do :

There was a woman who felted
And felted all day long

wonderful pkg full of awesomeness!
again, I love it all   Smiley
(the tags look like they'd make great bookmarks!
and clumsy_momma, your dd is a cutie!!

+++++++++++++++++

on a side note, our friend alwaysinmyroom's partner hasn't communicated
for a month, so I'm afraid something has come up that is preventing her from
completing the swap Sad
I've invited always to post the pkg she made, even if she doesn't get to send it,
so that we can all have the pleasure of seeing her amazing projects.....
(one in particular I REALLY want to see!)
I'm pleased that always is still active in the gallery & cheering the rest of us on!

You DO have an AMAZING partner...that is one of the most interesting ways that I've seen the categories thought of...I especially like the green leaves for the "green" category!  Very unique and appropriate for you!

I'm so glad that you liked everything, Whistley!  I was nervous about sending three skeins of yarn, BUT it is a yarn-related swap and I really really love the fibers I sent!  Noro is one of my favorites, and Cascade 220 is a classic!  Ella Rae (the green stuff) makes some pretty fab yarn too.  I really enjoyed all of the stuff you've sent me!  I'm using the stitch markers right now, and the Manos del Uruguay has already been used for a project.  Thanks again!!!
