carina recieved the skirts i sent her, here are the pictures.

(lots of them by the way.... sorry!)

the first one-


the front and back are interchangable, depending on which side she likes best, because it's an elastic waist and both pieces are the same. it has neon pink lingerie elastic at the waist and neon pink gathered lace at the bottom.

close up of the fabric, because i love it. it's vintage rayon that was printed in japan. i'd been saving it for something fun.

and the second skirt -

it's cotton with a red rickrack drawstring.

and orange pleats! i am SO PROUD of my pleats!

these were so much fun to make. first, i remembered how much i LOVE working with cotton, it just responds so well, and second because they're such fun bright colours that i'll never wear, but i love them anyway.

i hope they fit alright!

I'm the same with colours, I love working with brights, but I rarely wear any bright colour but pink.

i don't wear anything except pink either. i'm trying to add in purple right now, but it's kinda slow going!

Thanks for posting pictures crafty_dame, of my BEAUTIFUL skirts!
I took pictures of me modeling for them, but one turned out pretty dark.. Well, so you can see how they fit so well:

Since it stoped raining and it's still summer outside, I decided to wear one of the skirts and my boyfrind took me a picture of me getting ready to go to the bank
