oh mi gosh!

i received my package from dur30cat yesterday! it contained some of the most beautiful things in it. as a non-knitter, it doesn't take too much to impress me as far as knitting goes, but wait till you see these things! they are crafted so well, and they are perfect for my personality. she did such a great job! i'll post pics tomorrow, but right now i have to split work.

HHH, this was a flan-tastic swap idea!

Please excuse the office backdrop, you know how it is in cubie-land.

thanks so much Durcat!

OK everyone...

I did not forget you! I updated the sent received info on the main swap thread so lease check it out and make sure you are up to date.

I have been so busy at work preparing for the whole Ophelia thing that is sitting right off our coast (I live just over the river from Charleston, SC). I work with trees and they have to be prepared for the wind. All 25,000 of them! So needless to say working 20 hour days since Thursday, I have not had a moment to breath! But now the first bands of rain are starting to fall as I type this. So there's nothing I can do now but hope my babies don't get blown over in the wind and rain!

Thank you everyone for making this a great swap and for your patience and understanding!

I'm going to update each of your profiles for this swap tonight!

I'm a little worried I may have been flaked on.  My partner has been active as of the 16th of September, but she hasn't posted anything at all since June.  I sent my stuff off to her a few days ago, and the DC says it arrived... but I haven't heard a thing from her since we were assigned as partners.  Uh oh, I say.  I say uh-oh.

I received a great package from Coreisten today, a gorgeous, soft hot pink and lime green stripey scarf and a pink and white cell cozie with a rad sushi button. THANKS!!

I'm going to wear the scarf tonight and people will be so jealous.

My computer is sadly very dead, so I won't be able to upload any photos for a while, if you took any before you sent, could you please post them? I did, however, take pics of what I sent, so here they are:

Kristen asked for a brown tote bag, but I couldn't decide if the large or small bag was better, so I just sent them both:

and

Except that I took the second photo before I added the button to the flap.

One of these days, I'll learn to take pics of stuff before I send it away!

that is some nifty fabric. i don't know that i am a brown sort of person, but those colors and swirls together really make it look nice.  where did you scroe that fabric?

posh and sophisticated. i dig it. and such good craftsmanship, too.
