Whoo-hoo! I came back from a long day of class and more class to find PinkMafia's package waiting for me! She sent me a skirt and bag which are both fantastic. The goods:

A fabulous skirt that fits great and I love! The pattern is just my style and it's very lightweight and comfortable so I can be stylin' for the dog days of august we're having here. (Please pardon the picture--I was holding up my t-shirt so it didn't obscure the skirt---I've been taking molecular bio notes all day...)

ADORABLE bag. I love the fabric and it's the perfect size for taking along a knitting project or a book or a picnic lunch or anything else!

The inside of the bag--it's lined with a sweet tiny flower print.
I'm really going to enjoy pimpin' all over town with my new SEWN goodies. PinkMafia is a great seamstress and an awesome swap partner. Thanks so much for making my day!

I like the fabric on the tote--Escher-esque!
Is that embroidery or ribbon roses on the skirt?

Synne - the skirt has two different kinds of fabric....the main yellow gingham and the flowery gingham used for the ties and as accent patches along the bottom.

My partner punkinpie_prod received her goodies from me today, but she doesn't have a digicam so here's what I sent her!

A dark purple felted bag with a flower pin:

A wrap - Clapotis!:

And finally, a beaded wristcuff - MaryElla!, modeled by an orange crush bottle:

No I don't have a digicam but I do have the items in these pictures taken by the digicam.  And I have been spoiled beyond belief.  Amy says that she feels elementary with her work, but I am very impressed.
The colors and designs are superb.

ThankyouThankyouThankyou!

And a round of applause to HHH for organizing this one.  I feel another coming on in the future.
