OOOOH I love the hat and mittens.  I too have been upcycling sweaters.  I was given one that had started to felt so hot washed it so it would felt a bit more.  I have made these snuggly arm warmers and cuddly cushion.  I hope that over time they will both felt some more. I made the centres of the flowers from the seams that I cut from the arms when I made the arm warmers.  The birds and flowers I cut using my Bigshot machine and a couple of Bigz dies

Nicely done - it looks like you stuffed the bird a bit to give it some dimension?

Beautiful work...I love your flowers and the stuffed birds...I enjoy seeing other projects to do with recycled preg_replace('/(.{19})/', '$1 ', 'wools...wristwarmers') and leg warmers are on my list!

Thank you.  I did stuff the birds.  I had an old lumpy cushion so I washed it and then re used the lumpy stuffing.  I will in future comb out the stuffing with my wool combs.  If that doesnt fluff it up enough I will use my carders to fluff it. I hate to see anything go to waste

I forgot that I made these inchie houses out of old Christmas cards!  They were made for a personal swap with loves2experiment.  She already received them.  I placed the inchie house pattern on the glittery parts of the cards.  You do have to use one of those stylus tools or maybe a blunt pencil to score the fold lines when you use the heavy cards, but they do make cute little holiday houses.  I am going to make some larger ones using the cards for a village display next year.

I love the little houses!

I used cards from this year (and last year) to make some gift tags for next year.

Those are cute! You captured some good images!

We don't really give out gifts, so I use the tags to put on hats that I make and donate...it sort of makes them feel like gifts...

I kind of fell off the wagon on this one, but I'm trying to jump back on! Love the tags and houses made from xmas cards!

Everyone I know switched to picture cards this year. I wonder if there's something else leftover from 2013 I could use...hm.
