You know what sucks - most of the wine bottles here are switching over to screw tops - and I don't drink that much to begin with!

yeah--you can now buy corks...isn't that counter productive? I have used the plastic corks to make stamps...bottle caps for bottled water have gotten quite shallow as well...I used to make bottle top pincushions...wrapping papers and tags...

Once I had to do a craft with some little girls, and we used big, colorful caps from laundry detergent, spray paint, ect., and made pincushions. They looked like muffins or cupcakes!

I missed the challenge (argh!), but I am crafting with a lot of recycled goods - using a lot of recycled cardboard and packaging in the recent tag swap and paper crafting, and experimenting with pop cans.  I have some things posted in my blog; just haven't made the size changes and uploaded here yet.

The tp jewelry holders are very clever! And you could always glue some paper over them to fancy it up if you wanted. Scrapbookpaper, wrapping paper, magazine pages, ect.

Creative use of toilet paper rolls!

I did upload my pics now

These two were made with clear acrylic packaging I cut into tag shapes and stamped with Staz On metallic ink.  I really liked how they looked.  I attached the paper sentiment directly to the clear tag on the red stamped one, but added a matching blank label on the back for adding any written sentiment/to/from notes.

These are cut from recycled cardboard boxes and the die cut elements like the snowflakes and wreath were cut from the same boxes.  I also used recycled newspaper/magazines to transfer some images and texture to the tags after I prepped them with gesso.

I made the Santa faces by prepping reused cardboard with white gesso then transferring printed Santa images onto the surface, then carefully cutting them out.  I left them black and white to contrast with the busy background.

I cut the dimensional elements in these from recycled cardboard packaging, and some of the poinsettias were from reused tissue wrap
