Excellent question.

Challenge #2: Holiday Decor - Instead of an item to use, this month the challenge is the end product!  What can you make for holiday decor out of recycled materials? (Nov. 1 - Nov. 30)

I thought it'd be fun to alternate between an item to use and an end product to create!  Smiley

Taramor, those are awesome!  Do you have any directions on how to make them?

Thank you, Kaz814. Certainly - they are made as the first part of a traditional Danish Christmas ornament. Everyone makes them, children too - in fact they are fairly easy to make, when you get the hang of it, but tutorials are often a bit confusing.

But I have found two I hope you can use. The first one is in Danish, but the pictures explains themselves, I think: http://www.julidannevang.dk/klip/fletstjerne/fletstjerne.shtml. I just stopped after step 22., and cut of the edges, instead of making them 3-D.

The second one is in English, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7rr34gOba5Q.
They have the nerve to call it a 'German folded paper star' - and someone else calls it a 'Swedish folded paper star' - but-but-but - they are Danish!  Cheesy Cheesy  Roll Eyes

I really hope you all are busy on fabulous projects for the challenge ... my classes end ... very soon, so I might actually have time to do my magazine project that I've been planning for weeks now.
